Title imposed. Caption on the reverse of the photograph: "This is one of the Labasa Locos just in front of Jackaman's house and showing a corner of the Bakehouse. This loco is driven by a Welch [sic] chap known by everybody as "Taffy" and that is he standing in the left of the picture next to me. He is on his way out for a load of cane for the mill." Captions reflect the attitudes of the author at the time they were written, and do not reflect the values of the archives. These photographs were taken during 1909-1910, when Owen was working for the Colonial Sugar Refining Company in Fiji at Labasa, and printed on postcards.
