Professor Baxter's memoir includes his reminiscences as a PhD scholar at the ANU from 1961, as Research Fellow 1965-1968, Fellow and Senior Fellow then from 1975 Professorial Fellow in the Department of Theoretical Physics in the Research School of Physical Sciences. He retired in 2002 as Professor in both Theoretical Physics and in the School of Mathematical Sciences.
