Letters are from Franz Mergert (in German), J Henderson, W Williams, Thomas Kingsford, James Quinn, F Cumming, R Little and T D Moffat, Francis Glynn Connelly of Gayndah, Michael Burns, M Burnett of Rockhampton, and John Barker. Other papers relate to seeds sown in the garden and a list of electors in Burnett and Gayndah districts.

Letters are from Crown Land's Office Sydney, Lyall, Scott & Co, John Petrie, W McGinty, Charles Sinclair of Hay, James King, Bryce Barker, William Williams, and Mary Gould of Balmain. Other papers relate to George Clapperton's indenture as an apprentice in Banff, agreements between Clapperton and Robert Raynolds and between Clapperton and Lo ('a Chinaman'), agricultural returns, and a specification for a sheep station hut.
