Issues held are; Jun 1919 Frank Hyett in Memoriam edition, Aug 1927 (no. 194), Sep-Oct 1952 (nos. 504-505), Apr 1961 (no. 139), and 1962-1992. 1962 - Jan 1981 nos. 149 - 348, missing nos. 313, 315 (1977) and 345 (1980). Issues have no numbers after Jan 1981.

Initially titled the Railways Union Gazette, renamed the Railroad in January 1927 (for Jan - Jun 1927 see S27). Issues held in bound volumes from Jul 1927 to 1969, then loose issues covering the years 1970 to 1992 (with gaps), with one special election edition from 1993 (vol. 85 no. 2). There are also a few loose issues from the years 1944, 1947 and 1964.
