Includes Western Pacific High Commission proclamation "British Protectorate over the Bellona, Stewart. and Rennel Islands, the Santa Cruz and Reef Groups, and the Island of Tucopia", 18 Aug 1898 (one copy); "British Protectorate over Anuda, or Cherry, Island, Fataka, or Mitre, Island, Trevannion, or Temotu, Island and over the Duff, or Wilson, Group", 1 Oct 1898 (two copies); a proclamation cancelling and amending the two previous proclamations, 28 Jan 1899 (three copies); "British Protectorate over Choiseul, Ysabel, Shortland Island, Fauro, Tasman Group, Lord Howe's Group, and Gower Island", 6 October 1900. The High Commissioner for the Western Pacific at this time was Sir George Thomas Michael O'Brien. ALSO includes a proclamation ordering Shortland Harbour and The Harbour of Gizo be made Ports of Entry under the Solomons (Customs) Regulation 1097, 26 Jul 1907 (two copies); and "Imposing import duties on certain articles imported into the Solomon Islands protectorate" (two copies), 23 Mar 1908. These two are issued by Sir Everard im Thurn, High Commissioner for the Western Pacific.
