Sam Aarons (centre), no shirt and cigarette in mouth. Photograph taken by Sefton Delmer, an Australian journalist who was correspondent for the Daily Express. Published in Daily Express 13 Aug 1937. Newspaper caption identified Frank Graham of Sunderland (wearing glasses) and "A Londoner named Auverghinos" (correct spelling Avgherinos). Jack Shaw (nee Schuckman) has also been identified in the photograph as "third from the left half reclining and smiling."
